ADDING $60B IN MARKET CAP 9 WEEKS….

How wild is this market?  Battleships move like cruisers.  In just the last 9 weeks Exxon (XOM) and Apple (AAPL) have added $57B and $68B in market cap.  The two largest corporations in the USA have rallied 19% and 31%  in just 9 weeks. That’s an annualized rate of 179% and 109% or more than doubling in size every 52 weeks!  Diminishing future returns anyone?  Or has Bernanke thrown that one out the window with his permanently high prices strategy?  Perhaps I’ve underestimated open market operations and their ability to extract oil from out of the ground.
