ANOTHER MARKET CRASH IN THE OFFING?

15 July 2009 by Cullen Roche 3 Comments

We will see another market crash in the offing as Enzio von Pfeil, CEO of EconomicClock.com does not think the stimulus packages implemented by governments the world over are working. He makes his case to CNBC’s Amanda Drury.

What about INTC report/earnings-call. Clearly China’s stimulus helped – a lot!
It could be a short term uptick but still. Stimulus of other countries are slow but they are in the process.

  • Crash is a coming. Tomorrow should be really interesting. They managed to get some shorts out over the past couple of days in preparation of this. The VIX rising leads me to believe someone KNEW what was coming with CIT and possibly employment report. This could be very very interesting. CIT was the backbone of small business.

I was a pretty firm bear but now I’m of the opinion that this market will not go down. We would need the financials to get close to catastrophe again, but it seems like they are all prepared for it this time. Things would really have to go out of control for us to reach those lows and that level of panic again, but it doesn’t seem likely. I think a test of ~820 on S&P is just about as low as we can expect, even if conditions are dismal.
