Ask Cullen

The Q&A’s are really popular here, but I’ve had problems over the last few years figuring out a good way to keep them archived so that people can really benefit from them.  I’ve tried comments pages, discussion forums, etc. None of that really works very well.  So I decided to just create a different site with a totally different format.  It’s called “Ask Cullen” and the URL is ask-cullen.com.   It’s designed kind of like a Reddit, but only for money, finance and economics.  Users can register, build credibility, answer questions, ask questions, etc.

The goal of the site is to provide an educational forum where anyone can ask a question about anything and find reasonably quick answers to complex or easy questions.   It’s annoying that it’s a different site, but this allows me to much more efficiently archive and maintain the content.  I really hope people find it helpful and please don’t assume that I am the only one who can answer the questions.  After all, other users can rank your comments so if you don’t prove your understanding you’ll be thrown under the bus.  I’d really like to encourage the same sort of thoughtful, kind and educational comments that generally occur here at Pragcap so please keep that in mind.  I don’t have time to answer every question nor do I even have all the answers so I hope the community will chime in and make it a productive site.

You can always find the links to the site in the top menu bar here under “Ask Cullen” or in the sidebar in the image that ask if you have questions.   I hope you find it helpful and educational.

– Cullen

PS – I’ll be migrating the old comments over to the new site over time.  There are tons of good ones in the old archives….
