Nice paper here by Dr. Geoff Considine.  If you’re a stricit efficient market believer you might want to skip this one.  Considine makes a convincing argument against the theory (an argument I don’t think needs to be made after the irrational and volatile market action of the past 24 months) while showing simple examples of ways to obtain high risk adjusted returns.  Well worth a read:
