Perhaps not 20k, but I see new nominal highs this year. Mark it down and smoke it!

What else we gonna buy, gov’t bonds? real estate? lol.

Just my opinion but I thought the 20,000 call sounded like page view whoring more than anything else. I’m surprised someone took the time to throuroughly rebuke it. But good job nonetheless.

I lost the author when he said “James Altucher is no slouch”. Really? Does he mean that or did he just feel compelled to say it.

And then he lost me again when he questions Altucher’s assumption on the size of the gov’t multiplier vis a vis the $600 billion QE. Is that even relevant? The multiplier relates to government spending, i.e. fiscal measures, not monetary. Had he just pointed out that Altucher is a dope for applying a fiscal multiplier to monetary policy that would have made the point.
