Can someone explain to me how someone who has sat out a 66% rally can "catch up" to the benchmarks by deploying cash now? Saut must have being giving Raymond James advice when the firm loaded up on commercial real estate in florida from 2004-2007.

We have resorted to game theory as to why suckers will keep buying this bubble. This Saut clown is a complete moron. the Dow may indeed trade to 50,000 as the last two idiots trading, Saut and Cramer, agreee on a price there. The volume is at the lows and that is where real trading will resume sooner than later. We are in a deflationary spiral and precious metals are being talked about by every cab driver that picks me up. I can't believe that people listen to these morons and put there hard earned money to work enslaving themselves. Everywhere you look their is a 50% off sale, just sit on your cash and don't buy this paper crap from Saut and you will make 20% a year on your money as prices on everything around you come down. If you really need to lose all your money, then please, buy some AMZN at 134 this morning. Remember, it's different this time and game theory will drive AMZN to 200, you can't lose.

But didn't MS report that institutional cash holdings were at a 5 year low? How are they going to contribute to year end buying?

Seasonality has proven to be BS this year. Anyway, he may be right. But how stupid do they think fund managers are? I mean, I know they are dumb, but give them some credit. I still maintain we correct AT LEAST 5% short term. Then we will have to see if that will give us a healthy enough launching pad for DOW 11,000/
