LESSONS FROM BENJAMIN GRAHAM

22 March 2009 by Cullen Roche 0 Comments

Great read here on Ben Graham and “The Intelligent Investor”. Although Graham’s principles have fallen out of favor in the last 10 years I believe they are more applicable today than at any point in the last two decades. After steep stock price declines I believe buy and hold is likely to outperform most strategies over the coming 20 year period. Of course, it’s popular to say that buy and hold is dead 10 years after the fact, but those investors who shun the strategy now will likely be the same ones applying it in 10 years. If you haven’t read “The Intelligent Investor” I highly recommend it.
