NYSE SHORT INTEREST RISES IN APRIL

The latest monthly NYSE short interest data shows a monthly increase to 15.17B shares.  Among the largest changes in short interest are Citi, Merck, Pfizer, Bank of America and Regions Financial.  Among the largest decreases are GE, EMC, Fannie, UBS and Rio Tinto.
