PROMINENT INVESTORS THINK BERNANKE IS WRONG

22 November 2009 by Cullen Roche 1 Comment

It’s staggering how wrong Ben Bernanke’s forecasting has been over the years.  Now again, Bernanke sees no undue risk taking or bubbles developing in any markets.   Many of the brightest minds in the investment world disagree.  Will Ben’s recent comments on asset bubbles be added to the already sizable highlight reel of Bernanke forecasting gaffes?

I think if you spoke to Bernanke, he would say creating bubbles is better than letting things crash. But he should know that sometimes crashes are healthy. It is like a person and sleeping. Bernanke keeps injecting meth into the person so they don’t sleep and keep scrambling and getting things accomplished but everyone who knows about meth knows that once a person is up too long after a meth binge, they crash and sleep for days even weeks as opposed to just sleeping one night!
