WILLIAM BLACK: THE EURO COULD COME UNDONE IN 3-4 YEARS

28 December 2010 by Cullen Roche 10 Comments

William Black of UMKC believes the Euro could unravel in the coming 3-4 years as the political tension continues to increase and ultimately creates a divide between the core and periphery.  Black says the economies on the periphery are likely to remain very weak and will lead to civil unrest and political overhaul.  In the end the strains will be too much for the region to overcome.

Black also discusses the imbalances in China and why the Chinese are likely to experience their own crisis in the coming years.  The full interview is attached:

TPC, does TPC no longer post here? lol.

I’ve been saying it since $2.70, BUY COPPER FOOLS… and rare earths.

that is all, have a great new year.

    • He’s gone. You have to deal with some jerk named Cullen now. Sorry for the downgrade in author.

      • prescient11

I just don’t feel right calling you Cullen, lol, too personal or something. If you weren’t already aware, my mom did not name me prescient, haha.

Ok, your window is closing fast buddy, Quest Rare Minerals, QRM on TSX, QSURD on the pink sheets. It’s gonna be a wild and rocky ride buddy, but my huge bet is on Quest and I’ve done enough diligence to freak you out. Who the hell knows though, right??!! Exactly.

Other companies I like in the space, MCP (on pullbacks – I told those clowns not to short it in the $20s), TSM, and MAT. Gambles here are ALK (frigging Aussie stock) and RUU.

QSURD trade in the $5s today, I say that sucker is going to $20 and that’s on a very conservative valuation.

Hey, I thought I’d throw you a bone since you are doing so much work for us here my man. I’ll let you know if I find any juicy copper plays, I’m still looking and will probably act once we get an expected pullback here.

        Here’s to a great 2011.

The ECB and save the Euro is they would simply print more of them. Right now the EURO is being used as a defacto gold standard.

    • MJJP

Correction : The Euro can be saved if the ECB would print more Euros. At the present time the Euro is being used the same way a gold standard would be used.

      • prescient11

This is exactly correct. I believe they will print more euros and that will happen in 2011.

He actually gets paid for saying that !?
