YRCW CEO: “ECONOMY CONTINUES TO WEAKEN”

Bill Zollars, CEO of YRCW, one of the nations largest transportation and trucking companies, presented today at the JPMorgan Aviation & Transportation Conference.  Zollars says the U.S. economy “continues to weaken” and “volumes continue to decline”.  “February was worse than January”.  Truckers and trucking volumes are excellent barometers of economic activity because 70% of all transported goods are delivered by ground.  Clearly, things are still accelerating to the downside….
