ACHUTHAN: THERE WILL BE NO SECOND HALF RECOVERY

I’ve been giving Lakshman Achuthan a lot of airtime here for one simple reason – he’s been extraordinarily right about the economy over the last few years.  In a recent interview with CNN he talked about the most recent economic data and how it is confirming his belief that this is a slowdown which will persist. Achuthan says there will be no second half recovery.

The good news is that he says there is no recession in the immediate future. But he is increasingly concerned about the economy in 2012 and the potential for a new recession.
