Confidence in the US economy is cratering according to the daily Gallup poll on economic confidence. the Index plummeted to -32 in the latest reading which is a clear sign that Americans are losing confidence in the economy. The budget impasse is clearly starting to weigh on the economy.
Imagine that – not only are we holding ourselves hostage over the budget, but it looks like we might actually be shooting ourselves in the foot.
