RISKS WITHIN CHINA’S BANKING SYSTEM ARE BUILDING

Slowly but surely we are beginning to see signs of systemic irregularities and weakness in the Chinese economy. Kristine Li, senior director of credit strategy, Asia Pacific at RBS says the banking system is beginning to resemble the Japanese banking system when it was highly leveraged. This ponzi finance where the government perpetually builds things just for the sake of building things and maintaining a GDP target is slowly starting to show signs of strain.
