I thought this was going to be a very strong earnings season, but it is even surpassing my lofty expectations. From Thomson Reuters:
Roughly 15% of the S&P 500 has reported earnings thus far. Of those companies 84% have outperformed expectations. The percentage of companies that have missed estimates thus far? 9%.
Truly amazing. Could the analysts be more wrong?
