Many readers have expressed concerns over their cash and what to do with it in these confusing times. The Fed is “printing dollars” like crazy, bonds are worrisome due to inflationary concerns, money markets are paying almost nothing. What does a conservative investor do with their cash to try to generate some decent yield? One of my favorite conservative strategies is bond laddering. I’ve attached this excellent paper by Thornburg Investments on laddering. I hope readers find it helpful.
